Thanks for video on Utube great looking AC POWER GETTING THE JOB DONE👍
One ninety xt has eight gears and reverse.
Depends on how you look at it. 4 "gears" with Reverse, with 2 speed range for total of 8 and 2 reverse.
I remember them days especially being up in the mow on some scorching days 😂 wishing I was on the wagon 😂
When I was young we would use a hay conditioner. It seemed like forever to get it baled.
Their use has come back around as it aids in getting the first cutting to dry and makes the hay "softer".
Do you know how to adjust the bass? It is so loud that I can’t even listen to it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Great pull love those AC, s they always did a great job for us 😅
Those engines were built from 1957-1964 so older technology. Pretty amazing they rarely give trouble. The issues with this one was due to whomever rebuilt the head.
It just looks to me like the energy. Cell cap is a terrible design. I think there should have been a better way to cap these without having to lap them
From what I gather Buda had very little issue with this design, long time mechanics said they were rarely worked on.
@@charlie175 lots of engines used the Lanova, system, Allis Chalmers/Buda, JI Case, Minneapolis Moline, Waukesha, just the ones that pop in my head
The meanest sounding small diesel ever made, and the toughest! Allis Chalmers 💪
What is the purpose of an energy cell? I have never heard of one before
It was part of the Lanova Head Design. Fuel and air would ignite in the energy cell. This was phased out when direct injection became more common.
@@charlie175 mainly because in a direct injection Diesel engine the Rod bearings have to built heavier to handle the initial combustion,
@@user-ij3op9dw3u I remembered they used the same block as the gas engine.
@@charlie175 yes, in fact a local Allis Chalmers dealer changed a few D19 Diesels into gasoline,
Good information! That original punch install was an awful mistake!
Absolutely not! Ignition on, hold gas pedal down and e brake for three seconds cycle inhibition off then on and release both pedal and e brake.
The way I show disengages the brake so I can replace the pads. Yes it is not the maintenance mode. For some reason this vehicle refuses to go in maint. mode most of the time.
Great looking rig!! I have a ‘48 too-tell me about the front tow rope please, I’d love to add one to mine
Found it at my local co-op. 50’ long.
I’m drooling. I ALWAYS loved these jeeps. I learned to drive a stick on one of these. I’ve always wanted one. Maybe someday the MRS will let me! Haha
👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the video! Very nice! What is your tire brand?
Thunderer Trac Grip M/T (Made in Thailand)

My friends Carlos and Luis Chiguila had one of those !!! such cool little cars!!! I wonder what they did with it.
Allis Chalmers 💪
Allis Chalmers 👍
That is a genuine factory ripper and weight attachment
But the 190xt would stick between gears and not allowed you to get it out of gear
Never had that happen but I remember a neighbor with an early XT that had it stuck in gear. He changed to a 7000 soon after that.
I want that
That sounds beautiful
I'm just curious. If you had it to do over again, would you purchase the same radio? Any other issues besides the time resetting? Thank you for the review.
For the price point I got a good size screen that does work. Call volume is low preset so when I get a call I need to crank up the volume to hear. But I am in a wrangler.... There may be a power lead that I missed to give it constant battery power. Somehow it gets interrupted once a week or so and resets the time. Carplay works great. I use the sirus XM app on my phone for music. maps work great. Backup camera is nice also.
hi! Thanks for the review... do you have a link for this radio, can't seem to find it on Amazon. TIA?
awesafeinc.com this is their website
Hey do you remember how did you connected your camera? I have connected mine and only get black and white and like 9 small screens
Been a while but it was straight forward to do. Odd that you get duplicate small screens.
She probably pulls like a freight train at.... 1700 RPMs.... 😮. But be prepared for that unscheduled rapid disassembly around 3,000 RPMs. 😮.
Don't plan to go that high!
let’s hear that fucker drive!! 😮
One of the best trucks I ever ever driven go through anywhere anything
Nice video! (And setup!)
Thank you

That is so neat that you have had this since new! The D-15 is my favorite vintage tractor. I got the "D-15 bug" back when they were new. As a youngster I would crawl all over these at the local A-C dealer whenever my father was buying parts, etc. I remember I would beg him to buy one but he stuck with his WD-45. Bummer!! So I bought one nearly 55 years later! What's so cool about yours is that it can be used as a reference when restoring mine. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
Gave up plowing for no till 33 years ago. Have never missed this bouncing second pass
Allis Chalmers 👍 The 301 cu in diesel is a beast
..Hi . Good looking tractor. Where did you find that small 12 volt one wire alternator. I can't find one . Thanks.
DB electric
Thanks for post, very detailed video
I just like to watch 190XT's. Sold 6 when I was a dealer, and 4 regular 190's.
Nice seat!
Dad traded in his D19 on a 190XT LP. That was my favorite tractor of all time.
Never seen a LP in person. I assume they were localized to where the supply of LP was good?
And the LP tank was behind the seat and not noticeable like on other tractors. Because of the high compression the spark would jump in the distributor cap quite often, would need to install a new cap.
👍👍
What's with the silly front wheels 😂
Homer your in the wrong gear
im surprised that it even went past 150😱😱
Do these have a hand clutch also how much you think it weighs
They have a dry clutch that disengages 1 axle stopping movement. The WD style hand clutch was a better design. They weight around 2500 with no weights
I spent a lot of hours on this kind of tractor.
An absolute beaut!!
Very nice tractor
Those tractors are workhorses.
A great little tractor👍 Allis Chalmers didnt have a problem designing a drive train, the problem was every tractor under 100 hp was being built off shore, they wouldn't be able to compete , cost wise, building a complete tractor in West Allis
Lacking Powershift was a issue, even a 2 speed would be nice.
@@charlie175 the transmission was synchronous so you could shift on the go
For sure but you are still clutching it to get there (3&4 Synch only). A PD with no neutral would have been great. But that is my opinion.
@@charlie175 could buy a 7000 then you would have had a 3 shift powershift
Adding some more comments: The Radio reception seems a bit weak. Have a issue where the time resets, haven't figured that one out yet.
Time resetting is more of an issue now. Phone support via carplay still works great.
